In this course you will learn the essential details of essential PostgreSQL Administration tasks including: the over all PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, backups, recovery, and moving data.

This class conveys the knowledge necessary for the student to perform their duties as a PostgreSQL DBA, and is a foundation for the Advanced and Performance courses that follow in the DBA track. This course is designed for people with experience in database administration but who are new to the PostgreSQL. This course covers all the topics tested in the PostgreSQL Associate certification exam.
